A good 14 days after the world's best female golfers from Europe and the USA competed for the Solheim Cup in the USA, the Tuesday Club played the Solheim Cup at the Eremitage yesterday. The match format was the same, although on far fewer holes.
We first played 6-hole Foursome, then 6-hole Fourball and finally 6-hole Singles matches. 44 participated in the match, and there were 11 teams: \u2013 a White \u2013 and a Pink team.
The weather forecast was perfect, but on the day itself it rained quietly most of the time. However, this did not in any way dampen the fighting spirit. Despite the teams being very evenly matched, the White team won with 29 points to the Pink team's 15 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 9th row played a regular stableford, and 15 scorecards were submitted, the results of which are entered into the Order Of Merit.
