<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Capital Match has been played since 1938, when Sweden's Crown Prince Gustav Adolf instituted it and presented a trophy. Only during the years during the war and most recently during the corona has it not been played. The order of the capitals is fixed and is only interrupted when a country wins the trophy, at which point the royal house presents a new one and the match is then played in that country, after which the order is resumed. It must be won 4 times before it becomes property and a new one is presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the match was held on the oldest court in Stockholm and won by Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team consists of 3 men in the hcp groups <\/p>\n\n\n\n

-2.4. \u2013 3.4<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3.5 \u2013 7.4<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7.5 \u2013 11.4<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And since 1980 supplemented with a lady hcp -2.4. -10.4, the lady plays with a handicap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All players must be 22 years of age or older.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tournament committee selects the team at its own discretion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It looks at: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

That the player is actively participating in the club's official tournaments that year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That there is a regulated handicap for the season in question, which shows a picture of the player's current form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year KGK sent Tuula Undal, Jan Andersen (team captain), Thomas Buch Jensen and Claus Wall\u00f8e Bloch Thomsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year Finland won and in 2023 it will be played on the Copenhagen course. KGK's 125th anniversary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
