The last month of the season was a week shorter than expected, as we had to end a week earlier due to the restaurant closing on October 24th. It was supposed to close on October 14th and we had been looking forward to something of a challenge with lunch and a general meeting outside the restaurant walls \u2013 but the challenge was eliminated by bringing the season end forward by a week. We apologize to those members who had planned to spend the Autumn holiday with their children and\/or grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You will therefore receive this edition of our Monthly News already today, as the season is over and all that remains is for those who wish to participate in the Winter Tournament to register in GolfBox before November 6th and at the same time remember to pay 50 DKK to the chairman via MobilePay at 21644616. If there are too many registrations, for example in the A-row, the last registered person(s) will be moved to the B-row, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Report \/ result matches in October:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Friday, October 7th, we held the last 4+7+9 of the year, which are the matches that are held as compensation for not handing out applause prizes every Friday for the 18 holes. The point is not to win \u2013 except if you are in the running to become this year's Order Of Merit Champion \u2013 and instead of red wine, the prize was a bottle of good port wine \u2013 and the result of the match was:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The A-series was won by Jens Frederik Hansen ahead of Mikael Randel and Michael Gerlif \u2013 the port wines were won by Erik Schreiner, Erik Fabrin and Hans Henning Jensen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The B-series was won by Henrik Valdorf (second week in a row) ahead of Poul Birch and Niels Kofoed \u2013 port wines were won by the chairman and Ditlev Bondesen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Friday, October 14th was the day when this year's OOM was to be decided and the conditions for a good round were definitely present \u2013 as the very cloudy weather from the morning changed to beautiful sunshine and almost no wind during the round. The winner of the match in the A-row was Niels Christian Nielsen, the B-row Nils Juhl Andreasen and the C-row by Michael Ankj\u00e6r. The overall OOM 2022 champion was:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A-ranked Erik Fabrin with a whopping 46 points ahead of Michael Gerlif with 38 and Niels Wall\u00f8e with 32 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
B-row Poul Hansen with 37 points ahead of Steen Mahneke with 23 and Formanden with 21 points<\/p>\n\n\n\n
C-ranked Theis Jensen with 41 points ahead of Lars Monrad-Gylling with 39 and Michael Ankj\u00e6r with 31 points. (Lars Monrad-Gylling scored 0 points in the last match!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The early season finale on October 21st offered a lovely match in completely calm weather and without so much as a drop of rain \u2013 a pleasure to play on this day. We were 10 teams with 4 players on each team and the winner with 50 points was the team consisting of Michael Gerlif, Mikael Randel, Hans Henrik Leschly and Steffen Harp\u00f8th ahead of Poul Birch, Poul Hansen, Christian Gerlif and Christian Skjoldborg with 49 points. Unfortunately, everyone had left when the photographer arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
