<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nMagnus Becker Frederiksen from Copenhagen Golf Club has recently won the Italian Open Amateur Championships. The tournament, which is one of the oldest and most prestigious on the European amateur calendar, was held at the Royal Park Golf & Country Club I Roveri in Turin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Magnus delivered impressive rounds of 70, 68, 68 and 72, which brought him to an overall first place together with the Italian national team player Lucas Nicolas Fallotico. After an exciting playoff, Magnus secured the victory on the first playoff hole and was able to lift the traditional trophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We wish Magnus Becker Frederiksen a big congratulations on his victory and look forward to following his promising career in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\nJune is full of matches and events, so there are only a few major maintenance tasks planned on the course. The greenkeepers are therefore focusing on general course maintenance and trimming the irrigation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scheduled maintenance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Week 22:<\/strong> Aerating greens (Monday and Thursday) with small spears and minimal disturbance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Week 24:<\/strong> Cutting and dressing of greens (Monday) with very little disturbance to the playing surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
The dry weather has increased the need for water, and our old irrigation system from 1990 is being challenged. We are working to improve water coverage by adding more sprinklers, especially on the foregreens and tees. We have also updated our irrigation system software and plan to increase pump capacity with a new power cable this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A new supply of our popular divot bags will soon be available in the starter's house and at the trailhead at the 5th and 14th holes. We encourage everyone to use them diligently to help keep the course in top condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remember:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Straighten up your impact marks \u2013 and preferably those left behind by others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Use both hands on the rake handle when raking in bunkers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Practice from your chosen booth on the driving range and hit the turf in lines, not scattered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Please take due consideration for our greenkeepers and their work on the course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

We have seen a significant increase in participation, with approximately 30 juniors meeting every Thursday to play 9 holes and enjoy a meal together afterwards. There is always room for more!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Tournaments:<\/strong> We encourage our juniors to participate in local tournaments. This year we have already had 30 juniors playing on foreign courses \u2013 twice as many as last year!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Junior Summer Camp:<\/strong> Registration is open in GolfBox for the summer camp July 1-4. We have 50 spots, and 33 have already registered, so hurry up and secure a spot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

News from the Track:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nJune is full of matches and events, so there are only a few major maintenance tasks planned on the course. The greenkeepers are therefore focusing on general course maintenance and trimming the irrigation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Scheduled maintenance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Week 22:<\/strong> Aerating greens (Monday and Thursday) with small spears and minimal disturbance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Week 24:<\/strong> Cutting and dressing of greens (Monday) with very little disturbance to the playing surface.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
The dry weather has increased the need for water, and our old irrigation system from 1990 is being challenged. We are working to improve water coverage by adding more sprinklers, especially on the foregreens and tees. We have also updated our irrigation system software and plan to increase pump capacity with a new power cable this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A new supply of our popular divot bags will soon be available in the starter's house and at the trailhead at the 5th and 14th holes. We encourage everyone to use them diligently to help keep the course in top condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Remember:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n- Straighten up your impact marks \u2013 and preferably those left behind by others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Use both hands on the rake handle when raking in bunkers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Practice from your chosen booth on the driving range and hit the turf in lines, not scattered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Please take due consideration for our greenkeepers and their work on the course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

News from the Junior Committee:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n- Junior Thursday:<\/strong> Remember to register no later than Tuesday at 12 noon in GolfBox. We have seen a significant increase in participation, with approximately 30 juniors meeting every Thursday to play 9 holes and enjoy a meal together afterwards. There is always room for more!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Tournaments:<\/strong> We encourage our juniors to participate in local tournaments. This year we have already had 30 juniors playing on foreign courses \u2013 twice as many as last year!<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Junior Summer Camp:<\/strong> Registration is open in GolfBox for the summer camp July 1-4. We have 50 spots, and 33 have already registered, so hurry up and secure a spot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
We are delighted with the large turnout and encourage all juniors to participate in these activities to become an active part of our golf club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The greenkeepers are therefore focusing on general course maintenance and trimming the irrigation system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Scheduled maintenance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The dry weather has increased the need for water, and our old irrigation system from 1990 is being challenged. We are working to improve water coverage by adding more sprinklers, especially on the foregreens and tees. We have also updated our irrigation system software and plan to increase pump capacity with a new power cable this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A new supply of our popular divot bags will soon be available in the starter's house and at the trailhead at the 5th and 14th holes.
