Scandinavia's and Denmark's first golf club has hired Tuula Undall as its new director.<\/em> She has had a significant influence on the sport she loves since the mid-1990s, and<\/em> will take up the position at his home club on January 1, 2025<\/em>. (PHOTO: JESPER VINZENTS)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

"We are proud to have attracted such an experienced and reliable leader with many years of insight into the world of golf at the highest level," says Birgitte Henrichsen, chairman of the board of directors of Copenhagen Golf Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copenhagen Golf Club is an institution with a unique location and a long tradition of developing talents and a strong community. The club is uniquely located in the heart of the UNESCO habitat Dyrehaven, which is also a grazing area for approximately 2,200 deer. The club is also Scandinavia's, and thus Denmark's, first golf club to offer an inspiring environment for both elite and general public. With 1,200 active members, of which over 10% juniors, and a dedicated volunteer effort, there is an optimal framework for both sporting and social development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experienced leader with focus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuula Undall is not only a familiar face at Copenhagen Golf Club. Over the past almost three decades, she has been active in the Danish and Scandinavian golf world. Most recently as Club Manager at Sm\u00f8rum Golf Club, from which Tuula Undall brings with her, among other things, strong strategic and operational experience. The new director's career spans several senior positions, including seven years as Golf Manager at The Scandinavian Golf Club. Tuula Undall has also built up deep experience with elite golf, without at any time losing her deep understanding of the importance of breadth. As a long-standing member of the Danish Golf Union's board, the Danish Golf Foundation, former vice-chairman of Copenhagen Golf Club and chair of the junior committee, she has always prioritized talent development and volunteering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The future of the club<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copenhagen Golf Club, which is currently home to two national team players, is therefore, with Tuula Undall at the helm, well equipped to continue its development as a central player in Danish and Scandinavian golf. The focus will be, among other things, to maintain and expand the club's position as a flagship for talent development. The work also includes strengthening the administration, nurturing the good experience for members and guests and developing the shop and restaurant. This must be done while ensuring that the club's unique combination of nature, culture and sport is preserved for future generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
