The changes mean, among other things, that car traffic will now be directed via the large parking lot. For golfers, the conditions will remain largely unchanged.<\/em><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kgkgolf.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Nyt-anlaeg-v.-Springforbi-500x700mm.pdf\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"731\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kgkgolf.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Nyt-anlaeg-v.-Springforbi-500x700mm-731x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-21307\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.7138897238085696;width:361px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kgkgolf.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Nyt-anlaeg-v.-Springforbi-500x700mm-731x1024.png 731w, https:\/\/www.kgkgolf.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Nyt-anlaeg-v.-Springforbi-500x700mm-214x300.png 214w, https:\/\/www.kgkgolf.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Nyt-anlaeg-v.-Springforbi-500x700mm-768x1075.png 768w, https:\/\/www.kgkgolf.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Nyt-anlaeg-v.-Springforbi-500x700mm-9x12.png 9w, https:\/\/www.kgkgolf.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Nyt-anlaeg-v.-Springforbi-500x700mm.png 857w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J\u00e6gersborg Wildlife Park&#039;s status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site forms the basis for the Danish Nature Agency&#039;s plans to redevelop the entrance area outside the gate at Springforbi. The aim is to create a more welcoming arrival at the Wildlife Park, while also giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about the area&#039;s special World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The Danish Nature Agency has designated the entrances at Springforbi and Fortunen as the places where recreational access to Dyrehaven should be improved. Springforbi is also the entrance that gives pedestrians the shortest access to the Hermitage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>VEHICLE TRAFFIC GETS A NEW ACCESS ROAD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To create a car-free area around the entrance to the tunnel, access via Springforbivej will be closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In future, all car traffic to the Dyrehaven parking area must therefore use the entrance via the large parking lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For golfers who are going to Dyrehaven, the changes will not have any significant impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>CONTINUED PARKING CLOSE TO THE TUNNEL<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It will still be possible to park close to the tunnel. However, the area closest to the gate will be designed with space to turn around when the through-passage is closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>At the same time, bus parking options in the large parking lot are being improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New footpaths will also be established across the green area north of the toilets. From here, there will be both stair access to the tunnel and a level path that can be used by, among others, wheelchair users and people with strollers or golf carts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NEW PAVILION AND BETTER DISTRIBUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the project, the Danish Nature Agency will also utilize the green area by constructing a small pavilion with information about the world heritage site. Direct access to the popular caf\u00e9 will also be established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WORK IS EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED IN SUMMER 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Danish Nature Agency will set up an information board at the entrance to inform visitors about the upcoming changes. The work is expected to begin in November 2026 and be completed in the summer of 2027.
