We are well underway with the spring renovation of the course and the weather looks set to be classic April weather \u2013 sunny, dry and windy.<\/p>\n

Important dates (in addition to the fact that today is the anniversary of the Battle of Rheden):<\/p>\n

Wednesday, April 3:\u00a0<\/strong>We are celebrating Louis's birthday by opening the driving range and ball machine. There is still a mat requirement on the range.<\/p>\n

Friday, April 5:<\/strong>\u00a0We are celebrating the Old Boys club's opening match by allowing the use of scooters on the pitch.<\/p>\n

Saturday, April 6:<\/strong> We celebrate the club's official opening match by putting fresh wooden poles on the greens.<\/p>\n

Monday, April 7:<\/strong> Par 3 course opens<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In week 15 we work on the greens surrounding the course with dotting, seeding and top dressing. This is followed by dotting the par 3 course.<\/p>\n

The spring fairway renovation is nearing completion. We are hoping to start adding fertilizer to give the grass a little boost and create a denser surface.<\/p>\n

We still have many bunkers to be renovated and many other bunkers to be made ready for play again. We are holding back a bit on activity in this area as the deer are still very active on the golf course.<\/p>\n
