There were birthday flags at the Red Gate and our head greenkeeper Martin had hoisted the Dannebrog when the Tuesday Club played the Birthday Match yesterday. We turned 71 and never before in the club's history have we had 102 participants for the match and subsequent lunch.
\nThe match was played as a greensome over 18 holes divided into A and B rows, with a total of 78 players. The 9 row also played greensome. 24 participated.
\nThe clouds hung heavy over the Hermitage, but fortunately the rain stopped and it finally became almost summer weather.
\nFor lunch, the club's new signature dishes were served: home-smoked salmon with a green salad and a potato salad topped with dijonnaise.<\/p>\n
The great prizes \u2013 jugs and flower pot covers from K\u00e4hler and glass vases from Lyngby Porcel\u00e6n \u2013 were sponsored by Rosendal Design A\/S.
