Within a very short time, two chestnut trees have lost large branches or entire trunks very close to the course. First on the 1st hole and now on Monday at the 9th green. In the future, this will probably not be the last time that we experience similar situations. Many of the trees at Dyrehaven are ancient and especially the beautiful chestnuts are approaching their \u201cexpiration date\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a guest at Dyrehaven, you are in principle at your own risk. This means that as a golfer you must keep an eye out for dangerous trees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This does not mean that the Forest does not take into account that there are several of our golf holes where players are particularly close to the old trees. In late summer, the Forest and the undersigned will therefore review the course for the trees that pose an increased risk to safety and make a plan for their possible felling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two fallen logs will remain in place until week 30 when they will be removed. Until then, there is a gambling ban in the affected areas. The areas are marked in blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
