The Bridge Club
Like most other golf clubs, KGK also has its own bridge club.
Bridge is played on Thursday mornings from October 1 to April 1. The game is played in 2 teams, on even and odd weeks respectively, every Thursday at 10:00 a.m. - until approximately 2:00 p.m.
There is a ½ hour lesson 6 times in total, distributed across both groups, by a teacher from Blakset (Thomas Vang Larsen).

Membership
In order to become a member of the bridge club, you must be a member of the Copenhagen Golf Club – at least as a passive member.
Game day
Games are played every Thursday starting from the first Thursday in October through the last Thursday in March. There are usually 9 rounds of 3 games played – 27 games in total – so it is best to finish between 2:00 PM and 2:30 PM.
Christmas parties are held in weeks 50 and 51.
Membership prices
The annual fee is currently DKK 500 to play every other week.
Illness/absence
Cancellations must be made no later than 12:00 the day before. In the event of illness, please notify us as early as possible instead of "hoping for the best". If you arrange a substitute yourself, this must be in agreement with the tournament management and the person in question must be a member of KGK.
Waiting and substitute list
If a member of KGK wishes to join the bridge club, it is assumed that you are an experienced bridge player with a few years of bridge experience. If there is space on one of the teams, you can join. If the team is full, you can be put on a waiting list and be contacted when a space becomes available. During the waiting period, you can be put on our substitute list, and through this get the opportunity to play occasionally.
Proposal for vote
Proposals from members can be sent to the bridge management and for a proposal to be adopted, a simple majority vote is required.
Each member has one vote per team they are registered for.
