The weather gods had obviously not read the Danish weather forecast, which promised sun all day. We only got the sun later in the day, which started in rain and wind. However, it will take more to blow away the Tuesday ladies, who turned out in large numbers for the Opening Match – 102 participated. Another record. The participants were divided into 78 who played 18 holes and 24 who played 9 holes. The A, B and C rows were divided into two rows. Everyone played foursome stableford.
The opening match was moved from April 20 to May 11, when the updated Corona rules allowed more people to gather indoors. The A-row had a gun start and were therefore inside at the same time, and finished eating when the B-row came in. The 9-row also had a running start – they ate in the lounge.
Lunch was a delicious tapas plate with salmon, shrimp, ham and cheese + Peter's homemade bread.
