The dark blue rain clouds stayed nicely in the background when the Tuesday Club held its Pink Cup yesterday. 72 were registered, but after a few cancellations we were down to 66. Of these, 48 played the 18 holes and 18 played 9 holes.
The main attraction of today's match was to raise money for the Danish Cancer Society's campaign "Support the Breasts". This was done, among other things, by offering the opportunity to buy a drive hit by an elite player on the 5th hole. Unfortunately, we had a cancellation from one of them, but fortunately Christian Tage stepped in at 8:30. He was followed by Elisabeth Arenfeldt Sørensen from the elite, who, in addition to hitting many great drives, also had a pleasant morning and received lots of praise from the players. The drive could be purchased from 100 kr. and a total of 6,000 kr. was raised. A big thank you to Elisabeth and Christian Tage for coming along.
The restaurant was decorated in pink, as was the prize table. It consisted of 17 prizes from the Pink Cup's various sponsors plus 3 magnum bottles of rosé from Rosé, Vin & Bobler. They were given out for the longest drive and closest to the 12th hole.
There were prizes for the top 6 in the A+B row and the top 5 in the 9 row.
Before the award ceremony, Vitello Tonnato, Bruchetta with tomatoes, garlic, etc., fried scampi with avocado salad and Pink Cake (carrot cake with pink topping) were served.
Lots of raffle tickets were also sold. Here are the prizes: wine from Rosé, Wine and Bubbles. The winners will be drawn on June 15th and announced on the Tuesday Club website and in the club.
Today's collection was a little over 22,000 kr., which includes match fees, drives and raffle tickets. Well done by the members of the Tuesday Club.

The winners of the A and B series respectively have the opportunity to participate in the Pink Cup's national final at Svendborg Golf Club on September 16. More info to follow
