There was a queue at the red gate when 80 ladies were queuing to get on the course the other day. The opening match was played as greensomes over 12 holes for the A, B and C-row and 6 holes for the 9-row. The weather forecast tricked us a bit. The sun and the heat only came in the late afternoon. But never mind, spirits were high from the start.
Today's winners in the 12-hole match were Anne Ibsen and Eva Bramsnæs. No. 2 Kirsten Lyngbye and Anette Nygaard, no. 3 Lise Frederiksen and Berit Bugge Friis and no. 4 Birgit Peitersen and Sonja Martensen-Larsen. All teams had 19 points.
The 9-row was won by Merete Vinter and Anne Birgitte Lundquist. No. 2 was Annette Fabrin and Birgitte Willumsen with 10 points.
In both categories, the winners received a lovely scarf from Butik 2920 at Ordrupvej 78. As is tradition, there were also prizes in the form of training lessons and wine as applause prizes.
