As is tradition, we celebrate the Tuesday Club's birthday in May/June, because the weather is usually good. That's how it started this year too – sun and blue sky – but after 3 hours, the rain started creeping in. But we ladies are now seasoned, so a little rain can't put us off.
Inside, the restaurant was covered with white tablecloths, flowers and flags. Mikkel and his staff served Vitello Tonnato and several different cheeses. For coffee, we were given the most beautiful cake ladies – a birthday present from KGK for the ladies. Thank you for the sweet gift and thank you to Mikkel & Co., who worked under pressure, as the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration was visiting at the same time that Mikkel had to set up cheese plates.
62 participated in the match. 40 played 18 holes and 22 9 holes, and then 3 members came for lunch
Unfortunately there was some confusion when handing in scorecards from a couple of teams who had also recorded their scores as match play. One card was updated and that is perfectly OK as long as the scorecard is not handed in. Both teams played Greensome, like the rest of us.
I – Annette – reviewed the process and the scorecards with Tuula Undall on Wednesday and we both agree that the scorecards were filled out perfectly.
