Open Women's Day 18 Aug. 2026: Once again, the weather gods had heard our prayer for good weather for August 18th. And so it was – we thank you very much.
72 ladies showed up for the classic Open Ladies Day, where stableford was played in 2 rows. There were guests from 17 different clubs.
It wasn't just the course that looked good – the prize table too. It was a cornucopia of baskets with delicacies and beautiful bottles of wine from Meny on Jægersborg Alle. The store's new manager, Calle Iversen, had packed the baskets in collaboration with Ina.
There was also a surprise prize from Golf Plaisir in the form of a 3-night stay for 2 people to El Rompido. The course and hotel are located close to the border with Portugal.

After the match, Mikkel and his team served a delicious lunch plate with smoked salmon with asparagus and cream cheese, avocado with feta cheese and sesame seeds, salad with toasted almonds and blueberries, cheeses and dessert for coffee.
A big thank you to everyone at KGK for a wonderful day – the greenkeepers, the office and the restaurant – without you it wouldn't be possible.
