After a year with many Corona restrictions, we were able to once again invite the Gilleleje ladies to a friendly match at the Hermitage. And what a lovely day it was. Both the weather and the pitch were perfect. There were 14 teams from each club fighting for the honour and the 20-year-old hiking trophy that Gilleleje donated in 2001. Since then, they have won the trophy 13 times and Copenhagen 7 times. Yes, now the 8th time, because we won the match with 8/4 plus 2 shared matches.
Peter and his team had set up a beautiful table on the terrace, where Salad Nicoise, coffee and cake were served. There was a prize for the best pair from Gilleleje and Copenhagen for the most holes won. The winners were Sonja Martensen-Larsen and Margit Stassen from KGK with 6/5 and Janne Aarre and Kirsten Højgaard, also with 6/5.
