The Tuesday Club's 68th birthday did not go smoothly. It was celebrated in due course with a match, lunch and great prizes from Rosendahl Design Group and Lotte Bojesen Fischer. Everyone wore their summer clothes, sun hats etc. to play 18 holes in the scorching sun, as the weather forecast had promised, but alas, dark clouds and thunder rolled in from Sweden, and the match had to be shortened, so that only 12 holes counted.
Instead of sitting on the terrace, we moved inside, and with a lot of effort from Bob and Louis, there was room for everyone. By 2pm we were able to sit and enjoy Richard's delicious lunch.
Today's winners of the great prizes – wooden horses by Kay Bojesen, salt & pepper mills, bread tray and Bjørn Wiinblad textiles – were:
No. 1 Beritt Bugge Friis and Eva Skovgaard with 26 points.
No. 2 Britt Roust Jæger and Kirsten Dahlgaard 25 points.
No. 3 Karin Birch and Annette Suhr 25 p.
No. 4 Beatrice Lorenzen and Grethe Juhl-Hansen 25 p.
In the 9-hole series, it was the first 6 holes that counted and the winner was
No. 1 Bitten Michelsen with 9 points. No. 2 and 3 Grethe Backer and Jette Neubert
Then applause prizes, lots of hurray, long live and a big thank you to today's sponsors
