Excursion to Ljunghusen

Ljunghusen 2024

Tuesday, September 3:  True to tradition – i.e. for the last 20-30 years – the Tuesday Club has always had an excursion on the first Tuesday in September. The first many years to clubs around Zealand and then to Skåne. There could be a maximum of 40 participants – that was what the bus could hold.
The last two years we have visited Trelleborg and before that to Ljunghusen, which is KGK's friendly club. It has been a bit difficult to get start times in Ljunghusen, but this year we managed. So we thought, now the bus will be full.
But for the first time in the club's history, there were only 9 registered 14 days before September 3rd. We went back and forth a bit about whether to cancel the trip, but after a few more trips, the board of directors agreed to stick with it, but without a bus. We drove by car with about 3 in each car. We got 14 participants in total.
It was wonderful to be back in Ljunghusen and we were warmly welcomed by the super pro from KGK – Klas Olsson.
The course was so beautiful, the weather incredible and the atmosphere high. It was a great pleasure to play Ljunghusen again. The best score was Anne Hjort with 44 p. and then Annette Suhr with 41 p.
Home was who played regular stableford, but there were only 14 participants in total in the A+B+C-row. In the 9-row there were 16 participants and here were the winners of the day:
No. 1 Else Ankerstjerne 17 points No. 2 Helle-Vibeke Warløv 14 points** No. 3 Brit Roust Jæger 14 points

Tuesday, September 10:  Then came autumn in Denmark. After several months in golf dresses and short skirts, the warm clothes were found. It was a tough start to autumn with lots of wind that was just cold enough. But there were many great results, despite the weather. Today's winner was:
A-rank: No. 1 Anette Brock 74 strokes. No. 2 Inge Udsen 76 strokes. No. 3 Anita Näsberg 78 strokes
B-row: No. 1 Annette Halken 72 strokes. No. 2 Annette Nygaard 76 strokes. No. 3 Lis Gerlif 76 strokes.
C-row: No. 1 Lone Bech 38 points. No. 2 Bodil Kock 36 points. No. 3: Kate Dahl 32 points.
9th row: No. 1 Vibeke Byrch Pedersen 19 points. No. 2 Helle-Vibeke Warløv 18 points. No. 3 Brit Roust Jæger 16 points.
