Dear Intro Golfer,
July equals vacation time for many, yet some have been active, the weather well, it's Danish summer as everyone knows it best, we've had Mondays with sun but also, of course, rain, lightning and thunder.
There must be no doubt! 'When it rains you get wet, when it thunders and lightnings you go inside'
Like all other months, we end the month of July with a match - remember to register via Golfbox. Registration deadline is Thursday, July 27, at 12:00 noon.
August is knocking on the door and there are things you need to be aware of. 😜
Monday, August 7th and 21st – are completely normal intro golf days ⛳ as you know, we play between 4:00 PM – 5:50 PM, you register via Golfbox and mentors are allocated times on Friday/Saturday.
From Sunday 13th to Saturday 19th August 2023 – KGK's 125th anniversary is celebrated, The week is packed with golf festivities on long courses and every day there is food and drink in and around the clubhouse. We encourage you to clear your calendar and find the activities you enjoy. The program is for all club members, regardless of age or disability, and with a variety of different events on the 18-hole course. During the week there are also daily putting competitions and par 3 course competitions. Registration for the activities must be done via Golfbox.
August 28, 2023 – Monthly match, registration via Golfbox.
Do you want a challenge? (or just improve your game) Then go to the par 3 course, bring 3 balls and a 9-iron, PW and SW, all 3 balls must be hit on the green in one stroke. You can go and practice alone or with a partner.
You can also practice your swing on the new area at the par 3 course. Do the same exercise, 3 balls are hit with 3 different irons, towards the different flags ⛳
