Read the latest newsletter from club no. 1:
Dear KGKs,
Herewith a short newsletter focusing on the fact that we are introducing new tee markings in KGK as of 1.4.2017.
New Tee Markings
As written above, we are introducing new tee markings and 6 new tees at Copenhagen Golf Club as of today. In the attached letter you can read about the changes and the basis for doing so, including that we want to give you an even better playing experience. In this connection, we have also received new scorecards, which are already being used for the Royal Opening Tournament tomorrow, where the men play from Tee 57 and the ladies from Tee 49. Golfbox has not yet solved the printing of data on scorecards from inside the office, which is why you are asked to use the touch screens especially on Sunday, when many members have booked time. Enjoy.

The course
There has been a lot of activity on the course this week, especially with the important topdressing tasks. Greens and tees have been topdressed and we have continued to work on fairways to the extent that it has been possible to work in the somewhat rainy weather. Next week the green surroundings will be topdressed and reseeded, but then the season preparations are also being completed. Now the growth will hopefully start soon so that we can achieve the even and firm playing surfaces we strive for.
Saturday morning the ball machine will be opened for the range. Here is also a news: A door outside the fence and close to the range gives you access to the ball machine. It has been requested and now we have a solution. The new batting cage for the range is not open yet and the grass is not allowed to be stepped on. Thank you.
Have a nice weekend from the staff at KGK.
