This year's AM/AM was held on April 30th, on a beautiful, albeit cold day.
In KGK we have skilled golfers who are developing as elite and Division players in all age groups, and we think everyone in the entire club should benefit from this. That is why an Am-Am tournament is being held with the best of the club's players as hosts and team captains in a fun, educational and golf inspiring tournament.
9 teams participated in this educational day.
Game format:
4-man team. Scramble/Stableford
-
Everyone drives 3 amateurs and the “pro” drives the ball out and chooses the best one. From here, each player finishes playing their own ball.
-
The pro always plays his own ball from tee 61/52
-
The tournament is played as Stableford.
-
Played with 3/4 handicap
-
The 3 best scores count on each hole.
-
The players each have two "lifelines" where they can ask their “pro” to hit their shots.
-
Ties will be decided by sudden death by the elite player/captain of the team.
It was a fun and festive day, and we have some talented elite and division players in KGK.
The purpose of the tournament is to strengthen the unity between our talented elite and division players across KGK.
The proceeds from this tournament go to sports in KGK.
