The board has not been idle the last month. Together with Niels Walløe, the chairman, and Bjørn The Eagle Eliasen, Bjørn has put 99% of all this year's matches into GolfBox and from February 1st you can go in and register for all of them - both as an 18- and 9-hole player. Only the matches that require something from others than ourselves are not ready yet. At the same time, we have adjusted (read: corrected errors in) the 2025 Annual Plan so you will find it attached once again 🙂
We have also arranged this year's excursion to Sweden, which we sent out on Friday and the registrations went well, because already when Saturday turned into Sunday, we had received 12 registrations for Thursday/Friday and on Sunday another 2 came in and a total of 23 to play on Friday! If you didn't make it, there is 1 available place for Friday, August 15th at a price of 725 DKK including lunch after the round – contact the chairman.
Winter has arrived and the pace of the matches in the Winter Tournaments has slowed down. Some people have been busy the last few months – especially Row 3. In the match on January 17th between Poul Hansen and Kim Heshe, Poul had to make a Hole-in-One on hole 18 to secure 1 point. Congratulations!
In terms of membership, we ended up with 104 paying members + 4 new members + 5 donations, and we are very happy with them.
Just before the editor's deadline, we received notice of changes to the WHS (World Handicap System), but we'll get back to that next month.
Birthday
Poul HW Birch turns 75 on February 3.
We say congratulations and send greetings on the day 🙂

We warmly welcome Eskild and are all looking forward to playing with him.
Birthday list
We have gained 25 new members in 2024 and so far this year and due to the situation in the office, we have not been able to receive an updated birthday list. If it turns out that we have missed a birthday among the newcomers, we are very sorry - but we are working on the matter and will hopefully get it done before the start of the season.
