From today, the river returns to bunkers as the correct location on the Copenhagen Golf Club course.
We have had the rakes placed outside the bunkers for a number of years, but now that is over. Placing rakes in bunkers is the most common practice in Denmark and we now follow that custom.
Hopefully, a more central placement of the rake in the bunker will also save time for the golfer. We have relatively small bunkers so the distance to the rake will be shorter than before. And if the rake handle also rests on the edge of the bunker, it will be easy to grab the rake.
