Lots of Gin

IMG_3376

Tuesday 19.10: There was again plenty of gin as prizes when the legendary Scottish-Twosome was held. As always, it takes place the week before the final match, so the board has time to check the Order Of Merit list, plan the general meeting and much more.

Last year, when the Corona restrictions put a damper on travel activities, there were 80 of us at the match. This year, many of the members had gone south, so there were “only” 40 of us in the A+B row and 6 in the 9 row. But it wasn’t just the desire to travel that limited the number of participants, some were also affected by the flu.
The joy of winning a bottle of gin was just as great whether we were 40 or 80,
and the weather was with us once again. No rain and sun, but a nice mild autumn weather.

Today's winners were:

A-row: No. 1 Dorrit Ollendorff and Anne Cathrine Rosenørn-Lehn, 36 points. No. 2 Anette Brock and Annette Suhr, 33 points. No. 3 Birgitte Henrichsen and Mette Toftgaard-Hansen, 32 points.

B-row: No. 1 Else Bjerg-Pedersen and Eva Stack, 34 points* (lowest handicaps). No. 2 Lisbeth Baclay and Anette Halken, 34 points. No. 3 Anne Loft and Inga Munk Andersen, 34 points.

9-row: No. 1 Else Ankerstjerne, 15 points. No. 2 Birgitte Willumsen, 14 points. PS The 9-row played regular stableford, as there were only 6 registered and 4 cancellations from the morning.

Winner of the B-row and the 9-row. Eva Stack, Else Bjerg, Else Ankerstjerne, Anette Halken, Lisbeth Baclay, Inga Munk and Anne Loft.
