The new match format “Irish Rumble” was a great success with all the Tuesday Club “witches” the other day. We had been “thinking so hard” about a new form of Witch Match for a long time and it was Anita who came up with the idea: Irish Rumble.
A team match where on the first 6 holes only one ball counts. From holes 7 to 12 the team counts the 2 best scores and on the last 6 all the team's scores.
In the 9-hole round, Irish Rumble was also played. Here, the teams switched after holes 1 to 3, holes 4 to 6 and holes 7 to 9.
42 played 18 holes in two rows and 21 played 9 holes.
The prizes were also a great success: The best witches got new brooms, while the 2nd and 3rd place teams got witches' howl licorice and balls.
We will repeat the success next year.
