News from the Greenkeeper – Winter Course
Read the latest update from our Head Greenkeeper, Martin Nilsson, about the new winter course: https://www.kgkgolf.dk/banestatus-vinter-2023-24/The biggest changes to the new winter course are the use of different teeing grounds than usual, so that wear and tear is better distributed until the start of the high season. Normal summer greens will still be used when the course is open for play.
Between Christmas and New Year when the office is closed, scorecards for the new winter course are available in the hall or you can enter your scores via the Golfbox app. If the unthinkable happens that there are no more scorecards in the hall, you have the option to print them from home, see HERENew conversion tables have also been set up in the hall and starter's house, so you can see your assigned strokes from the black or green tee.
With the introduction of the new winter course, the prices for winter green fees are reduced to 350/400 DKK for weekdays/weekends. Guest for members costs 200/250 DKK for weekdays/weekends.
The shop
Opening hours are 9:00-15:00 until 21.12.2023. After that we will be closed and will return again on 2.1.2024 at 9:00.
THE CHRISTMAS SALE starts on Monday, December 18th and lasts ONLY until Thursday, December 21st.
The days will include fantastic offers so you can find the perfect Christmas gift for the golfer in the family... or yourself.
There will be, among other things, -20% on all bags, up to 50% discount on clothing, between 30-45% discount on shoes, min. 20% discount on all putters, 20% discount on all hats, gloves and balls, and last but not least, discount on all equipment (see the list here: https://www.kgkgolf.dk/udstyr-paa-udsalg-fra-18-12-21-12/) The offers are ONLY valid during the last 4 opening days of the shop leading up to Christmas. And for all visitors who put a little in their shopping bags, we offer glögg and æbleskiver in the restaurant after your shopping is finished.
The restaurant
From December 22, 2023 until January 2, 2024, the restaurant will be closed.
You are welcome to use KGK's self-service Honesty bar between 22.12-2.1., which you will find in the lounge. Here you can buy coffee, tea, cocoa, water, beer, wine and snacks, so you can end your golf round or simulator training with something good for your palate and stomach. You pay for your purchase in the Honesty bar in the following way; MobilePay to 58150. VWITH EVERY PURCHASE, please use the order forms on the table, as we need to record the distribution of sales for our restaurant accounts.
IN January and February We will be open as follows in the restaurant from 3.1. onwards: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday: 10:00-15:00. The selection in January will consist of open sandwiches and soup, similar to previous winters.
Member events in the new year: We would like to ask you to mark your calendars for Saturday, February 3rd and Saturday, February 24th, where you can look forward to cozy events in the restaurant with visits from exciting guests.
REMEMBER! We are running a special offer on the delicious KGK logo wines, which are a Christmas gift or host gift for 259 DKK for 2 bottles. See the attached picture of the beautiful wines.
