Open Women's Day 2017

Open Women's Day 2017

The most beautiful summer weather, the densest and probably highest rough in Denmark and a thoroughly beautiful course, which was tested by the Danish golf elite this weekend. Add to that a beautiful table setting on the terrace, a tasty spicy steamed salmon in red curry with vegetables and herbs, all created and prepared by Tobias & co.

These are just some of the highlights from the Tuesday Club's Open Ladies' Day on August 15, 2017. Of the 84 participants, 35 came from outside. From Læsø, Møn, Simons, Asserbo, Hedeland, Værløse and Österlens in Skåne, to name just a few.

A great selection of main prizes and applause prizes from Golfino on Jægersborg Allé, funny Kay Bojesen birds for closest to the flag on the 12th and 16th holes and closest to the center line on the 17th hole from Lotte Bojesen Fischer. 2 boxes of delicious delicacies from the Deli boys, who served samples to everyone after the match. And last but not least, there were great wine prizes, purchased from Meny in Rotunden, who had also sponsored 84 goodie bags, handed out before the match.

There were prizes for the top ten in both the A and B categories.

The 4 best positions of the day were: A-rank, no. 1 Annie Pettersson, Værløse GK with 34 points. No. 2 Birgitte Størner 33 points. No. 3 Jette Linke, Hedeland GK 33 points. No. 4 Vivi Hallstein 32 points.

The B-row was won by Mette Dam with 33 points. No. 2 Eva Bramsnæs 32 points. No. 3 Susanne B. Rørly, Søllerød GK 31 points. No. 4 Gerda Hestbech, Ledreborg Palace GC 30 points.

Closest on the 12th hole was Charlotte Ekborg from Værløse GK, and on the 16th hole it was Jytte Frederiksen from Simon's GC with just 0.45 cm.

Closest to the center line on hole 17 were Benthe Sørensen and Ulla Allerup.

Thank you to everyone who participated and a very big thank you to the sponsors.
