Tuesday 11th July: The weather was perfect golf weather with heat and light to moderate winds from the south/southwest and a fairly dry course with a nice “run”. Still rough, where it was easy to find the ball in most places. But despite this there were 7 NR and not particularly good scores. Relatively few participated in the match in all ranks due to holidays etc. 31 played 18 holes and 12 9 holes.
There were over 8 in each row, so there was one wine for number 1 in each row. Today's results were:
