We are repeating the success from the spring and are offering again Trial membership for beginnersFrom August 10, 2019 to September 28, 2019, you can play golf in the middle of the idyllic Dyrehaven for 7 weeks, and receive instruction from our experienced and friendly golf coach, Klas Olsson.
When does the training take place?
The training will take place on Saturdays 11:00-12:00 on the following dates: 10/8, 24/8, 7/9, 14/9, 21/9, 28/9. Please note that the first time on 10.8., we will hold a 2-hour session.
How many people can be on a team?
There can be up to 9 participants in a team, so grab your life partner, girlfriend or friend and get started.
What is included in the package?
During the period while you participate in the training, you have free access to the training course including free range balls, as well as free play on our par3 course. During the same period you can also take part in our intro golf Monday afternoon, where an experienced mentor will be able to help you around the par3 course until you obtain permission to move on to the next step, which is to play our large course in a shortened beginner version together with a mentor. All this with the goal of obtaining a course permit. At intro golf on Monday you will also be able to meet new and experienced members of our lovely club, who will happily introduce you to the joys of club life.
What equipment do you need?
You will be given a golf set by us at the start, which contains everything you need. The set can be purchased after the course for a price of 1,250 DKK (50% discount). You just need to bring practical shoes (sneakers or similar) and a good mood. Balls, tees, etc. can be purchased in our shop.
Have I learned to play golf after the course?
If you participate in all the training sessions and are diligent in training outside of the sessions, you are well on your way to getting your track permit. We have on this link described how you obtain your course permit in KGK. But please note that you can only obtain a course permit, a handicap and a DGU card if you become a member.
What does it cost?
The price for the Try Golf package for 7 weeks including everything is DKK 2,250 per person.
After completing the course, you will be offered membership of our lovely golf club. The annual fee as of 1.1.2020-31.12.2020 costs DKK 8,200 for the entire season, as well as a deposit (non-refundable one-time amount) of DKK 15,000 upon registration. The deposit can be paid over 6 months, or you can choose to pay it over 3 years at DKK 5,500 annually + fee, or over 5 years at DKK 3,500 annually + fee. When you accept membership for 2020, the rest of the calendar year 2019 is free. With summer greens open all year round, there will be ample opportunity to play golf in October through December.
