Tasteful end to pig match

pig-match-2019-winners

There was both sun and frost on the course yesterday, when 42 participated in the last pig match of the year, where Three-ball-bestball was played over 8 holes. Afterwards there was a delicious Christmas lunch with 8 exciting snacks and, as is tradition, rice pudding. Another 18 participated for lunch, so we were 60 in total.
The ongoing eclectic match was won by Susanne Tarp with a net score of 68. In second place was Anita Näsberg with a net score of 71½. The prizes were gift certificates for the pro shop, a small ceramic pig on loan, and the honor and pleasure of taking over as hostesses for next year's pig match.
The day's bestball was won by Anette Harmsen, Trine Fehrn-Christensen and Anne Victor with 36 points. No. 2 was Karin Birch, Ulla Junker and Eva Bruun with 29 points while no. 3, with the same points but with a higher handicap, was Susanne Tarp, Anette Sunne Harder and Lotte Bønnelycke.
At the end, there was a communal song and raffle, so everyone got a small gift to take home.
Many thanks from members and the Board to this year's pig match hostesses Musen Bülow and Elinor Drusebjerg for a successful match and lunch.
