The field is closed and there is therefore no activity in Old Boys, which is why we have chosen to send out this month's infomail already now.
KGK member 1-10 Henrik Iwersen from Formuepleje has signed up as a prize sponsor this year and has chosen the match on Friday, August 14. Henrik is also a member of the Old Boys Club.

Before we start this year's season, we think it is appropriate that you all receive the rules we all play by, so that no disagreements arise on that point - see attached.

This month we will be inviting you to this year's Opening Match - this is because, due to Easter this year, we have chosen to start the season already on Friday, March 27 - so it will be exciting to see whether the course will be ready in time? The editor was in contact with the club on February 20, and the greenkeeper was able to inform us that they estimated that the course was frozen to a depth of 20 cm!
Danish Senior Golf
Senior Golf has again this year requested KGK to be able to hold a match on our lovely course and the board has accepted that we will start our match 30 minutes earlier on May 8th, to ensure that we get around before Senior Golf starts their match at 1:00 PM.
Excursion to Ljunghusen in Sweden on Friday, August 28th
We still have places available on the trip to Sweden. If you would like to join us, please send the chairman an email and indicate whether you would like to play from Tee 52 or 57?
The tour includes lunch, which is paid for by the club. Green fee 1,200 SEK is paid upon arrival.
New member
In February, we warmly welcomed 1-3027 Flemming Højbo as a new member of the Old Boys Club.
We are all looking forward to playing with Flemming. We are now 105 members.

Bjørn has created almost all of this year's matches (Hornbæk has not yet been created, as we do not know how much we will have to pay in match fees) - so you can already register for the matches you want to play in.
Opening match 2026 – March 27 09:00 – meeting time 08:30
We start as we ended in 2025 – with a Team Match with 4 players on each team over 12 holes (holes 1-8+15-18) from Tee 49 (out of consideration for the 9-holes) with the following conditions:
On all holes, the 3 best scores per hole count in the match. Each team must consist of a minimum of 3 players.
The prize is the most valuable of the year, as it is an annual fee worth 400 DKK per winning player!
There are 3 hours allocated for the match. If you/your team need more time, that's no problem, you can just continue playing out there - but you won't be in the fight for the 400 kr.!
Register in GolfBox no later than March 25th at 10:00 AM – and remember that you must be present to receive your prize!
PS! Note, that this year you must pay for your own lunch and that if the club has a mat requirement, to follow this requirement. If not informed by the club, then mats may not be used in the rough.
