The field is open for play again.

mats

Starting Monday, March 2, the course will reopen for play after a short week of closure.

After inspection today Sunday the course is in no different condition than on other winter days. Greens, green surroundings, tees and bunkers are dry and nice and fully playable. Fairways are OK, but of course plagued by the constant running around of deer. It is “business as usual” again.

However, it can be very slippery in selected areas, especially on small slopes and on our paths. So tread carefully and be careful.

As a new feature on our course, small mats have now been hung up in the starter's house. The mats are for loan and must be hung back after use. It is optional whether you want to use them. They are really good at protecting tees and fairways. You can decide for yourself whether you want to use the mat, but unless you need to have your handicap adjusted, we encourage you to use it on your round around the course.

Continue to align your tee marks and keep your distance from the greens by following the white markings around the greens.
