Tuesday, August 22: No matter where the golf ladies waited and turned on Tuesday, there were deer and red deer grazing, or lying and enjoying the sun. In short, once again the golf course at Eremitage showed itself from its very best side. The fairways and rough were juicy green, the sky blue and the sun yellow, on the Tuesday Club's Open Ladies Day on August 22nd.
The fact that our Open Ladies Day is a sought-after match was evident from the large turnout of players from outside the club. Of the 71 participants, 43 came from 17 other clubs.
Once again this year we were able to present a very nice prize table. First place in each row was a golf trip for two people, sponsored by Golf Plaisir to Spain and Portugal respectively. 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place were clothes and caps from Daily Sport, and the other prizes were delicious rosé wine from Menu on Jægersborg Allé.
Our great chef, Christina, served an excellent fish platter with tuna, salmon, mussels, etc. for lunch, which was followed by a delicious sweet dessert with seasonal berries. An all-time success.
Many thanks to everyone who participated, and a big thank you to the greenkeepers for a beautiful course, to the Restaurant for a delicious lunch and Anne-Mette and Christian Tage for helping with the running of the match. See you again in 2024.
