The course is open and playable. The fairways are still soft, which is why the lie improvement is in place so you can clean the ball before the next shot. The greens roll nicely and here it is really good for the time of year.
THE DRIVING RANGE IS OPEN, but there are no balls in the machine. The heavy rain has meant that we cannot collect the balls. In the right part of the range, almost all shots plug, which means that we lose many balls and that in the long run they cannot be collected with the machine as they sink deeper into the ground. We have put some balls out on the range, which you can pick up by hand or with the small cart - just like in the old days. There is a mat requirement for the rest of the autumn / winter.
