Weekly Tournament 2019

The purpose of the weekly tournament is to give KGK senior members the opportunity to play a weekly counting round. Members must be 18 years of age on the day of the tournament.

The weekly tournament has been held since 1976 and is held every Tuesday from the last Tuesday in April until the first Tuesday in September.

Played in three rows

Men's / Women's Playing Handicap (SPH)

A: max. 16

B: 17 – 28

C row men tee 49 hcp. From 25.3- 43  

C row ladies tee 45 hcp. From 24.6- 40
Game format Stableford (unless otherwise stated on the board in the hall) Men play from tee 57 and women from tee 49. in the A and B rows

The C row here is played by men from tee 49 and women from tee 45.

Regarding registration and starting times, the following should be noted:

Times can be booked from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM (only members of the weekly tournament). However, it is still possible to participate in the tournament if you play earlier in the day.

  • A player can only register for their own team.
  • The tournament will be held from 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM as three-ball.
  • Players in the Weekly Tournament may be transported during the scheduled round.
  • Tournament fee per time DKK 20,- payable before You go out in the envelopes belonging to the weekly tournament, write your name and membership number here, and the tournament fee for the entire season is 250.- and can also be paid in the envelopes belonging to the tournament - it is also possible to pay at the secretariat and put a Dk note in the envelope with your name and membership number.
    If the tournament fee is not paid before the start, the consequence of late payment will be disqualification (counting).
  • that weekly tournaments will generally count
  • that all players must hand in their own scorecard, alternatively the player will be disqualified (counting)
  • If you have a club handicap – then it is possible to book a time in the weekly tournament – pay 20,- kroner, hand in a scorecard and the committee will then register the scorecard as an EDS round until the EGA hcp. (3 Cards) is achieved, after which you will participate in the weekly tournament on an equal footing with the other participants.

Registration must be done alone via GOLFBOX (registration via the secretariat) can't take place!) NOTE: If you are going to participate in the Weekly Tournament, registration via GolfBox can only be done after contacting the secretariat, where you will be registered as a weekly tournament participant.

Regarding scorecards and handicap regulation, it should be noted:

Each week there is a competition for a club cup for the winner in each row. At the same time, points are given for the first three positions for an overall ranking for the entire season, where silver cups are played for in all three rows (permanently rotating).

In addition, an eclectic is played for each row throughout the season.
The weekly tournament has its own Order of Merit
A prize giving ceremony will be held at the closing tournament of the Week Tournament.
