Why should you become a member of Copenhagen Golf Club?
As a member of Copenhagen Golf Club, you appreciate a golf course that is in harmony with nature and the guests of Dyrehaven. A course that, precisely because of its location and history, is a test for the best and is an experience for everyone. We want our members to have chosen Copenhagen Golf Club because they appreciate our distinctive character and being members here. We strive for them to feel a connection to the club, which is strengthened through relationships with other members.
The location in Dyrehaven is unique in more ways than one. The landscape, the expanses and the red deer contribute to a natural experience that adds an extra dimension to the game of golf. Close to the city, the experience becomes that much greater when you pass the red gate and walk up to the cozy clubhouse, where you can comfortably enjoy the free nature and very rarely hear noise from vehicles or the like.
The location in the middle of Dyrehaven's protected areas is a challenging setting for a modern golf club. Here we are true to who we are and what is possible in an area that is under UNESCO protection, while constantly developing the course, the club and its offerings for members.
It requires a special commitment from the club's members and employees, that we all want the club with our hearts and that we are able to create and maintain the social relationships that increase the value of membership for each individual. Here, many interests must meet and be broken, and we are all responsible for creating the environment that makes it possible. We have a broad membership, and are proud of the sporting results at all levels, which are a result of the individual's diligence, motivation and the support from our coaches and volunteers. Not least, we are proud that so many young golfers find a community and are part of a positive development in the encounter with the game of golf. They are the ones who will lead KGK forward.
Part of the special atmosphere in KGK is that there good space for membersWith the ball trend, we usually have free time and we stay open for greens play all year round, weather permitting.
We have many membership benefits, including green fee agreements with Danish as well as foreign clubs – all located within a reasonable distance. Furthermore, by using the club's sponsors, you can either obtain discounts, get unique offers and/or at the same time give something back to our junior department, so that the younger generations can have even better experiences as part of their membership.
