Greenkeeper at Copenhagen Golf Club – Scandinavia's first golf club located in Dyrehaven
Are you passionate about your greenkeeping? Would you like to help run a sustainable and future-oriented course maintenance in a unique environment? Would you like to become part of a modern golf club located in magnificent nature with more than 2000 deer as your closest observers? Then you could be the right person for the position as greenkeeper at Copenhagen Golf Club.
Our greenkeeper team
You will be part of an experienced team of 5 colleagues, which grows to 10 greenkeepers during the high season. We have a strong professional community that always revolves around improving the course in the most sustainable direction while emphasizing that playability and quality on a year-round course are top notch.
In the team, we are true to what we can and what is possible on an area that is under UNESCO's protection. We work with greenkeeping within a challenging framework, while at the same time having an ambition to constantly develop the quality of the course for the benefit of the club's 1,200 members. We have introduced alternative care methods that we have either invented ourselves or read and heard about. We are in the process of improving our fairways and within a short number of years we will build a short game area, renovate our irrigation system and help make the club's 125th anniversary in 2023 a memorable year.
The position
The position is 37 hours per week. Overtime occurs, but not routinely. There is a fixed rotation of weekend morning shifts. Hours earned through overtime or weekend shifts are taken off in the winter. The club follows the DAG/3F collective agreement.
For the right candidate, the job could develop into a senior management position.
