The course was in top condition, the weather was beautiful and the turnout was great when the Tuesday Club played the Solheim Cup yesterday, a few days before the Ryder Cup starts in Paris.
There were 48 registered and the teams were divided into Pink and White. Unfortunately, many were colorblind, including the chairman, who showed up in gray instead of pink.
It was a great day. The first 6 holes were played Foursome, the next 6 bestball and the last 6 were singles matches. The result was that the White team won big: 27 points to Rosa's 21.
The winning team each got a bottle of wine – white, of course. After the match there was a rush on the terrace to get a seat in the sun. But we like to sit close together so there was room for everyone.
See you next Tuesday, October 2, where there will be stroke play in the A+B series. All series will be played for points towards the Order of Merit. The last solo match of the 2018 season.
12 ladies played 9 holes and the result was: No. 1: Anne Jensen 13 points No. 2 Anette Sunne Harder 11 points No. 3 Jane Bøje 10 points
