Hope you've enjoyed the beautiful May weather, where we've had significantly more sunshine than usual. The golf course still misses rain, but it's hard to be sad about the beautiful weather!
Restaurant
As you may have noticed, we have struggled to recruit new staff, especially for our kitchen. Our new restaurateur, Flemming Endres, along with Dres and Jakob, have put up a good fight throughout the start of the season.
We are therefore pleased to announce the appointment of a new head chef, Christina Holme Larsen, starting June 1. Christina brings a good portion of experience from similar positions and her love for good, solid Danish cuisine (including regional dishes) makes us look forward to the collaboration. Christina brings Line Plesner as a kitchen assistant / chef, who know each other from previous collaborations - so a strong team.
We look forward to welcoming them both to the restaurant team starting on Thursday.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Jakob S. Hermansen, who has been employed in our kitchen since 2019. Jakob will be leaving on May 31, 2023 at his own request. Good luck going forward.
Limited opening hours until 11.6.
Due to a lack of staff in the kitchen and restaurant, we have reduced opening hours as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 11:00-21:00
Friday to Sunday (and holidays): 10:00-17:00
The kitchen closes 30 minutes before. Remember to pre-order before you go out – THANK YOU!
From Monday 12.6. we will return to regular opening hours, open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Friday-Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
We will continue to encourage you to purchase a value card to the restaurant, where you pay 1,000 DKK and get 1,100 DKK to buy food and drinks. The cards are purchased at the bar and can be refilled after the balance is used.
If you have feedback on the food or other good suggestions, please bring them directly to the restaurant. We welcome your feedback with open arms.

Did you know that our members have the opportunity to play for free at Esbjerg, Silkeborg, Ledreborg, Bokskogen, etc. via TOP NORDIC Golf collaboration? Each club must make one tee time for 4 people available every day during the high season, which can be booked 56 days in advance. You request a tee time via the Bokamera system, and you can read more about it at the bottom of this page: https://www.kgkgolf.dk/greenfee/.

AUTUMN GOLF TRIP
Join us on a lovely autumn trip to Fairplay hotel and golf course in southern Spain. A fantastic golf resort located in the Cadiz region. Klas Olsson takes 14 members on a lovely golf trip that includes a good golf course, delicious food, and a 5-star hotel in peaceful surroundings. A great end to the season. BARSEBÄCK GOLF RESORT WITH KLAS AND OSKAR AUGUST 7-8
Join Klas and Oskar for amazing Barsebäck on August 7-8. We will play both courses at Barsebäck during the 2 days and practice a bit too. We will stay and eat at their newly renovated golf hotel right next to the course. See more here Barsebäck August 2023
